A retreat day to gently cleanse & renew
Come and join me for a pre-summer reset that will gently cleanse your body & mind.
Most studies and information around fasting are focused on men – very little information takes into account female hormones and life stages, and is based on restriction and under-nourishment, which is why it isn’t helpful or effective for many women.
The day has been put together to explore not only what we consume (food and drink) but what we surround ourselves with and put on our skin, connecting with other like-minded women with shared interests and spending a motivating and nourishing day to yourself in beautiful farm surroundings.
Cleansing in the right way for you can support weight loss, improve brain function and energy, aid detoxification and help to improve hormone health. Feeling brighter and lighter both physically and mentally will give you a motivational kick-start ready to feel glowing for the summer holidays ahead.
On the day we’ll cover…
• What is cleansing and the benefits to our hormones, brain health & weight
• How cleansing is different and more gentle than fasting and why it is more suited to women
• How to reduce our toxic load by making small changes to our diet, lifestyle and environment
It includes…
• A guided breath work session by BreathWell MCR
• A nature walk around the woods & farm
• A practical make-your-own smoothie workshop
• A natural skincare talk
You’ll eat/drink…
• A detox juice
• An immune-boosting shot
• A nourishing soup
• A power smoothie
Everything is gluten & dairy free and suitable for vegans. All freshly made by The Farm Kitchen at The Promise with organic and locally sourced ingredients where possible.
You’ll also be given guidance on how to start the cleanse the night before and extend until the Sunday night to increase the benefits to a weekend cleanse. This will include advice on what to eat and when, what to avoid for the duration and some recipes to try for the Saturday night and Sunday – however, this is completely optional.
